Interview with K.Pinson

We had the opportunity to Interview the lovely K. Pinson
Author of In Spades (Mirrored)
 
RC: Thank you for taking the time to do an interview with Reader's Candy!
KP: Thank you all for having me <3
 
RC: Okay Questions....


What is your favorite thing about writing?
KP: My favorite thing about writing has to be just letting your imagination run wild. Pouring your heart, soul and any other thing you have left onto paper. I also thoroughly enjoy getting feedback. It's overwhelming and amazing.
 
RC: What inspired you to write In Spades (Mirrored)?
KP: It was a big mixture of things. Bits and pieces mirror aspects of my own life. Friends and Family have inspired me for character personalities and looks. It was a huge melting pot that all came together to create a story that refuses to get out of my head.
 
RC: If you had pick one song to be the soundtrack for In Spades (Mirrored), What would it be?
KP: Hm. This one is tough. But i'd probably choose Lullaby by The Spill Canvas
 
RC: What is your favorite book of all time and why?
KP: OH! Another hard one..oh boy..oh boy..of ALL time..wow..hm. I'd have to say a book that i've read over and over and over again would have to be Farenheit 451..I know..it's completely out of character. That book truly takes you to a whole world and it's believable and likeable and exciting. I just love it.
 
RC: Name just three authors you enjoy reading?
KP: At the moment..I'm really into Indie authors..so i'd choose Molly McAdams, K.A. Robinson and Abbi Glines.

RC: If you had to describe yourself with one word, What would it be and why?
KP: I would have to say...dorky..I think it speaks for itself haha. I have always been one, i'll always be one.
 
RC: Do you have a fun fact about yourself you'd like to share with your readers? 
KP: Let's see...a fun fact. Well..I was on slime time live when I was a kid...on nickelodeon..and I won! LOL that was really fun. Haha.

Book Description:

Avalynn, now a 22 year old Elementary School Teacher and New Mommy, struggling to raise a beautiful and feisty five year old whom was just diagnosed with Mild Autism Disorder. Lots of challenges for her to face in the midst. Avalynn is ready to go at them all head on if it means Abby is raised in a happy and healthy home. Abby is the only thing she cares about...not even caring about herself or her life...that is...until she meets him. The man that can shatter her entire world with one glance. Their relationship a roller coaster ride from start to finish. One that Avalynn never wants to get off of..but she may not have a choice. Her happily ever after coming to a screeching halt yet again. Heartbreak, love, loss and hope--This story has it all, In Spades.
