Wanted by J Kenner

For fans of Fifty Shades of Grey, Bared to You, and Release Me comes an all-new erotic series of three enigmatic and powerful men, and the striking women who can bring them to their knees.

He is everything I crave, all I desperately want—and he is everything I can’t have.

Evan Black embodies my every fantasy. He is brilliant, fierce, and devastatingly handsome. But he is also headstrong, dangerous, and burdened with secrets.

My family warned me to stay away, that I could never handle Evan’s dark dealings or scarred past. Maybe I should have listened. Maybe I should have run. But our desire is undeniable, and some temptations you just can’t fight.

And from the moment we touch—the passion between us consuming us both—I know that I will never be the same.

Wanted is an erotic romance intended for mature audiences.

My Thoughts:
2/5 Stars

I wanted to like this book, but I just could not get into to it. The beginning was okay. I did fall for Evan Black, but Angelina was not my favorite. I liked when they started to rekindle their flame, but the back and forth drove me nuts.
I thought with time this book would suck me in...
Unfortunately when a girl is a thief, I check out.
Not to mention there were multiple times where they got in bed with each other and Evan took care of her, then pushed her away. That to mean is not a man's behavior, especially bad boy Evan.
Around the middle I shut the book and did not finish.

Like I said I wish I would have liked this one... but it didn't work for me.

When it Rains by Lisa De Jong

When it Rains
by Lisa De Jong
*This book contains mature subject matter and is not intended for those under the age of 17.*

One night changed my life forever.

Beau Bennett has been my best friend since I can remember. He was my first crush before everything came crashing down, and now he wants more, but it's more than I can give him. Things are different now. I wish I could tell him why, but I can't.

I haven’t told anyone.

I never knew how much I really needed him until the day he left for college, and I was completely alone.

Then one day, Asher Hunt rides into town with his dark, captivating eyes and cocky grin. He doesn't care who I used to be, he's simply breathing life into what’s left. People warn me to stay away from him, but he helps me forget the pain that has held me hostage for so long; something I thought was impossible before he walked into my life.

I’ve been hurt.

I’ve been saved.

And I’ve found hope.

I thought my story was written that night, but now I know it was only a new beginning. Until one secret turns my world upside down…

Again.

My Thoughts:
5/5 Stars

This book will rip your heart out and leave you with "ugly tears". I truly can't say enough about this book. It was everything wrapped into one. There were three wonderful characters, romance, heart break, loss, and new love.

Beau was Kate's best friend and together they went through it all. When he finally announces he is in love with her ... It is too late. He is off to college and she is struggling with a tragedy that happened years before.

Kate isn't the care free fun girl she used to be and when new guy, Asher comes to town her world is turned upside down. He lets her see the light and changes her for the better. Together they fall in love and learn each others deepest secrets. Beau though cant let go...

There is a twist towards the end of the book that makes you scream "NOOO!". Kate remains by Asher's side and devotes herself to him. They share many memories and fall even deeper in love.

I will leave you at this so I don't spoil the rest...

The book is fabulous. I wasn't bored at any part and I loved the cute little touches the Author adds. She pays attention to the simple things and I can appreciate that.

~Hurry now go pick up this book. You will not be disappointed!

My Thoughts:
3.5/5 stars

This book was surprisingly a life changing read. It makes you appreciate what you have and take a closer look at your own marriage.

Andrea is a single mom struggling with dating problems and raising her daughter. Her story was entertaining and lonely. I felt for her... It seemed as though she sulked alot. When she meets a charming guy and thinks he could be the one of course he turns out to be a douche. Towards the end of the book though there was a twist and I loved it!

Holly basically wants to be a cougar. She sheds the weight and prances all around. She puts extramarital activities before her family and even decides to write an erotica. When her husband finds her writing he realizes the stories within the journal are real. Together they grow apart and their marriage wears thin.

Marissa has it tough and I loved her story. With a gay son and a terminally ill daughter her life is consumed by being a caretaker. She argues with her husband trying to get him more involved. Little did she know he was having an affair. Towards the end things change... Will they mend their wounds??

Overall if you like reading about older women with depth this book is for you!
Wonderful, emotional read.

Unravel Me by Kendall Ryan Review

Unravel Me
by Kendall Ryan
Psychology student Ashlyn Drake’s neat, orderly life takes a turn for the crazy when she finds the perfect subject for her amnesia thesis – a young man without any memory of his previous life, including the murder he’s accused of committing.

Against all common sense, Ashlyn’s drawn to him like a moth to a flame. Perhaps it’s that he’s so incredibly male, and even handcuffed to his hospital bed he could pass for a cologne ad – Scent de Insanity. Or perhaps it’s because she’s spent too many lonely nights studying. Either way, she’s determined to help him solve the mystery of his past. She begins to unravel who he was before, using his cryptic tattoos, and his paintings that scream of a dark past as her only clues. When she finally learns his secret there’s no telling which one is the real him, the gentle lover she’s fallen for or the troubled man with a dark past.

I started this book and COULD NOT put it down.
After a couple of hours I was done and left with a book hangover.

I was pleasantly surprised by how well this book was written. The storyline sucked me in from page one and I was emotionally involved throughout the entire book.

Logan or Aiden is hot and totally book boyfriend material. I was worried though when his past came back into the picture. I wanted to throw the book and scream NOOOO.
I thought the ending was going to rip my heart out, but it left me with a smile.

If you are looking for a fast read with hot romance and a touch of mystery... this one is for you!

Wallbanger by Alice Clayton Review

A bestselling hot, hilarious eBook by USA TODAY indie author Alice Clayton, the freshest voice to hit publishing in years. “An instant classic…highly recommended!” (New York Times and USA TODAY bestselling author Jennifer Probst).

Caroline Reynolds has a fantastic new apartment in San Francisco, a Kitchen Aid mixer to die for, and no O (and we’re not talking Oprah here, folks). She has a flourishing design career, an office overlooking the bay, a killer zucchini bread recipe, and no O. She has Clive (the best cat ever), great friends, a great rack, and no O. Adding insult to O-less, she also has an oversexed neighbor with the loudest late-night wallbanging she’s ever heard. Every moan, spank, and—was that a meow?—punctuates the fact that not only is she losing sleep, she still has—yep, you guessed it—no O. Enter Simon Parker. When the wallbanging threatens to literally bounce her out of bed, Caroline, clad in sexual frustration and a pink baby-doll nightie, confronts her heard-but-never-seen neighbor. Their late-night hallway encounter has…well…mixed results. Because with walls this thin, the tension’s gonna be thick. A delicious mix of silly and steamy, this is an irresistible tale of exasperation at first sight.

My Thoughts:
3.5/5 Stars

Usually I do not read Comedy, but after hearing all the praise on this book I had to give it a try.

I thought it was entertaining and I caught myself smiling a few times. The storyline was unique and the characters were great. I loved Caroline's personality and let's be honest Wallbanger is a total heart throb.

The romance was built off of friendship, nothing was rushed, and I can appreciate that.

Simon changes throughout the book from a man whore to a compassionate, caring man. When him and Caroline finally got together I loved the book. Before that though... I was bored.

The cat was suppose to be a funny attribute, but he annoyed me. Maybe it's because I am not a cat person... I don't know.
The behavior was bizarre and unbelievable.

I enjoyed the friendships, but wished Simon was with Caroline earlier because I truly enjoyed their story and felt like I didn't get enough.

My Thoughts:
5/5 Stars
Mesmerizing romance with intense sexual situations.

Let me start by saying WOW! This book will leave you breathless. When I finished I had what you call a book hangover. I couldn't get the damn book out of my mind.

In Book 1 I had a major crush on Aiden, but after this read...
I am team CODA all the way.

Aiden is a protector and I love how Julia looks to him for approval. Coda though... He is sweet, caring, and an intense lover.

Let's be real here... 2 men is any girl's fantasy. Some books that include two men though take it too far. I loved how the Author added the right amount of sexy time and an equal amount of plot.

The twist and turns in this story had me on the edge of my seat. Just when I got lost in the romance- BAM! suspense overload.

The ending surprised me and I found myself giddy over the direction things went.

If you like a nail biter with romance you will devour this one for sure.

Book Trailer

Teaser

"So, when exactly do I get my striptease?" I asked.
"Well, that's up to you, Hotshot."
"Hotshot?"
"Yep. Cocky attitude, arrogant disposition, and sexy as fuck--it's a good nickname."
"All right, so what are your terms, Leah?"
I fought back the urge to touch her. Stuffing my hands into my pockets, I paced the room in a vain attempt at keeping myself from just saying, Fuck it, and pinning her against the wall before she could lay down any terms or requirements. Because whatever she was about to say, I was going to agree. She didn't know it, but she had my balls in her perfect little hands, and I was at her fucking mercy. I both hated and wanted her at the same time. She made me feel out of control and weak with need. I couldn't stop the pursuit, and I couldn't walk away.
"I will not be an easy fuck whenever you get too lazy to find a new bimbo for the evening. I will not allow you in my bed, wondering where you've been and what kind of sloppy seconds I'm getting," she declared.
Then, she said the one thing I never wanted to hear.
"I want to be exclusive with you--for however long we decide to do this. I don't care about labels or dates. You don't have to take me out to dinner, bring me flowers, or buy me anniversary presents. The only thing I ask is that, for the time we are together, you are mine."
"Yes," I answered immediately, surprising us both.
"Yes? That's it? No counteroffer? No freak-out or temper tantrum, Declan?"
"No, Leah, no temper tantrum. Just one request."
I joined her on the sofa. My thigh brushed hers, and I heard her breath falter.
"And what's that, Hotshot?"
"Make it two," I amended. "First, the same rules apply to you. While we're together, for however long, you're mine, Leah," I purred against her ear.
Her eyes widened, and her breath became ragged, giving me a quick sense of satisfaction because I'd broken through her calm and collected exterior.
"And second?" she asked timidly.
"Don't fucking call me Hotshot."
She visibly relaxed and snorted out a laugh before saying, "So not happening, Hotshot."
