Come Away with Me by Kristen Proby

Being confronted on the beach by a sexy stranger wasn't part of Natalie Conner's plans for a peaceful morning taking photos. And why on earth would he think she's taking pictures of him, anyway? Who is he? One thing’s for sure, he’s hot, and incredibly romantic, feeding Natalie’s wounded soul.

Luke Williams just wants the world to give him a break, so seeing yet another camera aimed at his face has him ready to pounce on the beauty behind the lens. When he finds out she has no idea who he is, he's intrigued and more than a little tempted by her. Natalie has a body made for sex, a sassy mouth and Luke can’t get enough of her, but he’s not ready to tell her who he really his.

Natalie is a no nonsense girl who doesn’t do well with lies and secrets. What will happen to this new relationship when she discovers what Luke’s hiding?

My Thoughts:
4/5 Stars

This was an easy read with a great storyline.
There was romance, family, and friendships.... What more could you ask for?

Natalie is a photographer of sexy photos and Luke is a big time actor/director.
Together they are a whirlwind of romance.
They have an instant connection and together they build quite the relationship.

The friendships made this story fun. I also loved the dates Luke and Natalie shared.

I fell in love with Luke. He is 100% a book boyfriend... hot, protective, and dominant.
The only thing I would change is less sex, more storyline.

I highly recommend this one.

Fight with Me by Kristen Proby Review

Jules Montgomery is too busy and content with her life to worry about a man, especially one Nate McKenna. If growing up with four brothers has taught her anything, she knows to stay away from sexy men with tattoos and motorcycles. That goes double if he's your boss. During the one incredible night they shared, he violated the no fraternization policy...among other things, and it won't happen again. Jules won't risk her career for mind-blowing sex, no matter how much her body and her damn heart keep arguing with her.

Nate McKenna could give a shit about the no fraternizing policy. He wants Jules and he'll have her. The rules could bend around them, or be damned. He's not a man to be taken lightly, and Jules Montgomery is about to find out just how he responds to being pushed aside after the best night of sex he's ever had. She can fight all she wants, but he'll have her in his bed in the end.

FIGHT WITH ME is the second novel in the With Me In Seattle Series.

My Thoughts:
4.5/5 Stars

I enjoyed book 1, but this one way better.

Jules has had a one night stand with her HOTT boss Nate McKenna.
With the no fraternization  policy in mind they try to keep their
distance and ignore the situation.
However, both are insanely addicted to one another.
When they let their guards down and a relationship builds, they cant stay away from one another.
What happens when their company finds out though???
READ TO FIND OUT
<3

Let me just say Nate McKenna is one fine specimen and that piercing..... Damn!
I loved the descriptions and details in this book.
The Author did a fabulous job at making you feel as though you were in the story.

I highly recommend this book!

USA TODAY bestselling author Renée Carlino explored love and heartbreak in her beautifully written debut Sweet Thing, and her newest novel does not disappoint. For fans of Colleen Hoover, K.A. My Thoughts:
3.5/ 5 Stars

This story was full of heartbreak, love, and changes.

I found this book to be enjoyable, but slow at the beginning.

I hated seeing Grace's boyfriend treat her terrible like he did and my heart ached each time she had to go home. The shit she put up with on a day to day basis was enough to kill a woman. She was so strong and it was amazing to see her carefree in Florida.

I loved Ryan and how they instantly had a connection. He treated her as a woman should be treated and I'm not sure she knew how to handle it.
Grace tries to let her guard down, but still has Jon in the back of her head.

When returns from Florida Jon basically ends whatever they had and she decides to go back to Florida. Ryan and her move forward and begin to date. Their dates are romantic and unforgettable. Grace smiles again....

The Author did a fabulous job writing a heart felt story about moving on and letting your heart love again.

I recommend this book to all readers.

Sweet Thing by Renée Carlino Review

Mia Kelly thinks she has it all figured out. She’s an Ivy League graduate, a classically trained pianist, and the beloved daughter of a sensible mother and offbeat father. Yet Mia has been stalling since graduation, torn between putting her business degree to use and exploring music, her true love.

When her father unexpectedly dies, she decides to pick up the threads of his life while she figures out her own. Uprooting herself from Ann Arbor to New York City, Mia takes over her father’s café, a treasured neighborhood institution that plays host to undiscovered musicians and artists. She’s denied herself
the thrilling and unpredictable life of a musician, but a chance encounter with Will, a sweet, gorgeous, and charming guitarist, offers her a glimpse of what could be. When Will becomes her friend and then her roommate, she does everything in her power to suppress her passions—for him, for music—but her father’s legacy slowly opens her heart to the possibility of something more. A “heartbreaking and romantic” debut (Aestas Book Blog), Sweet Thing explores the intensity and complexities of first love and self-discovery.

My Thoughts:
5/5 Stars

This book was an amazing story about first love, heart break, and second chances.

I loved this book and the characters within it.

Mia is a young woman trying to figure out what she wants from life. She loses her father and has to tie up lose ends that he left behind. She meets Will on the plane and runs into him again in the diner she is working. He is a musician with a part time job and passion like no other.

Together they are quite the pair. They become roommates and their connection is tested. Both bring home other people for over night stays and while they have no claim on each other.... it still hurts.

It is obvious that both have strong feelings for one another, but fear holds them back.
Through record deals, bad decisions, and second chances they try to make their relationship work.

This story will leave you with a book hangover for sure. The Author does a fabulous job at writing so you feel every emotion the character is feeling. I found myself charmed, heartbroken, and happy throughout this book. I was rooting for their love and wanted nothing more than to see them together.

I highly recommend this to every reader.

Beyond Shame by Kit Rocha Review

A dangerous world of sex, lust and violence...

All Noelle Cunningham has ever wanted is a life beyond-beyond the walls of Eden, where only the righteous are allowed to remain, and beyond her stiflingly restrictive existence as a councilman's daughter. But only ruins lie outside the City, remnants of a society destroyed by solar storms decades earlier.

The sectors surrounding Eden house the corrupt, the criminal-men like Jasper McCray, bootlegger and cage fighter. Jas clawed his way up from nothing to stand at the right hand of Sector Four's ruthless leader, and he'll defend the O'Kane gang with his life. But no fight ever prepared him for the exiled City girl who falls at his feet.

Her innocence is undeniable, but so is their intense sexual attraction, and soon they're crossing every boundary Noelle barely knew she had. But if she wants to belong to Jas, first she'll have to open herself to a world where passion is power, and freedom is found in submission.

Also available bundled with BEYOND CONTROL & BEYOND PAIN.

My Thoughts:
2/5 Stars

If you are looking for an erotic read with sex, sex, sex, and no real connection between two characters... this book is for you. Otherwise, I would pass.
This book was not what I was expecting. I read about the first half and then did not finish.
I don't mind a book with sex, but when there sex within every chapter and the storyline is lacking ... I draw the line.
The romance between the characters didn't stand out because everyone was doing everyone. There were threesomes and foursomes and just plain lots of sex.
Not my cup of tea.

Never Been Ready by J.L. Berg Review

Leah Morgan was done with men. After barely surviving a horrendous childhood, and a boyfriend who bailed when things got rough, Leah had given up on love. Then she met him, Hollywood’s new golden boy who suddenly had eyes only for her. She tried to convince herself that one night couldn’t hurt, but after six months, the memories of his mesmerizing gaze and searing touch still invaded her every thought.

Declan James had just one rule when it came to women. Keep it simple, and never linger. That all changed the moment he met Leah. Even across a crowded bar, he could tell she was different. Sweet, with just the right amount of sass, she made him break his golden rule and now he couldn’t walk away.

When casual becomes anything but, and emotions run deep, will Leah and Declan fight their fears, or let old insecurities tear them apart? When Declan’s past comes roaring back in a way neither of them could have expected, will they stand united or be torn apart by the challenges that lie ahead?

It was only supposed to be one night, but only forever will do

My Thoughts:
5/5 stars
*** I was given an ARC for honest review ***

Holy Shit! - Another book to add to my all time favs!

This book took me on a rollercoaster ride of emotions. I wasn't even on page 30 and tears ran down my cheek. I then swooned my new book husband Declan. Man what a freaking sex god hotty! Next, I went to the edge of my seat and started biting my nails. Leah's dad is a dick and I honestly wanted to punch him in the face every time she visited him. Laughter was another emotion this book brought out. I laughed hysterically at Leah and Declan's back and forth banter.

The characters' personalities really shined throughout the entire book. Leah was beautiful, kind, caring, and bold. Declan started off cocky and arrogant, but left his guard down and let Leah in. I just loved them together. Their love was fun, real, and everlasting.

Lastly, I was overwhelmed with joy. Watching Declan and Leah fall for one another was amazing, but to see Declan bond with Connor.... Wow! That tugged at my heartstrings.
I can't say enough about this book. it brought everything to the table... suspense, romance, love, family, and friendships. The way Clare & Logan were added in made this book even better. I loved them in "When You're Ready" so to see their story again was wonderful.

My Thoughts:
5/5 Stars

This book was different and I liked that!
The storyline was unique and the characters were awesome.

Emma was the typical woman looking for love and a baby. While looking for a sperm donor she is given a proposition. Aiden wants her in bed so he is eager to exchange his sperm for sex. She is reluctant to say yes and in the end feelings grow deeper than just a business transaction.

The love they form is beautiful and real. The situations and difficulties they are overcome prove that they are meant for one another.

I loved the family aspect of this book. They all bond and form a joint family.

This book had it all ... hot sex, emotional bonds, family ties, friendships, and a loving relationship.

Highly Recommend it to all readers.

My Thoughts:
5/5 Stars

Love, Love, Love this book!

This book was everything I could ask for.
There was a beautiful storyline with amazing characters.

Joss is beautiful, kind, and fragile. Braden is gorgeous and cocky. Together they have an amazing connection.

The Author did a great job with the storyline. There were charming parts that left me smiling, emotional parts that brought tears, and  romantic parts that made me feel in awe.

I loved how Braden and Joss were good for each other and I loved the friendships in this book. The family parts were great too. Usually I am not into background stories, but with this book you need them to understand the main characters better.

Highly Recommend this book to every reader!

Down London Road by Samantha Young Review

Johanna Walker is used to taking charge. But she’s about to meet someone who will make her lose control....

It has always been up to Johanna to care for her family, particularly her younger brother, Cole. With an absent father and a useless mother, she’s been making decisions based on what’s best for Cole for as long as she can remember. She even determines what men to date by how much they can provide for her brother and her, not on whatever sparks may—or may not—fly.

But with Cameron MacCabe, the attraction is undeniable. The sexy new bartender at work gives her butterflies every time she looks at him. And for once, Jo is tempted to put her needs first. Cam is just as obsessed with getting to know Jo, but her walls are too solid to let him get close enough to even try.

Then Cam moves into the flat below Jo’s, and their blistering connection becomes impossible to ignore. Especially since Cam is determined to uncover all of Jo’s secrets…even if it means taking apart her defenses piece by piece.

My Thoughts
3.5/5 Stars

I had high expectations after reading On Dublin Street, but this book fell short.

I understand the Author had to set up the story with background info, but the beginning was slow. Once Cam started working at the bar I became sucked into the story. It had amazing scenes and just okay scenes. The connection and interaction between Cam and Jo was wonderful. I loved them as a couple. The friend parts and background stories... I could take or leave.

The emotional aspect of this book was realistic and gut wrenching. I felt for Jo every time she had to tend to her mother's drunkenness. The way her mother spoke to her was just absolutely hateful.

I loved the characters. Cole was a favorite. His relationship with Jo was heart warming. They took care of each other and it was very sweet.

The sex scenes were hot. The Author did a great job making you really feel the emotions the characters were feeling.

Overall the book was pretty good. I wish it was a fast page turner like On Dublin Street, but I still enjoyed it.

Fighting to Stay by Kasey Millstead Review

Fighting to Stay
by Kasey Millstead

“Never stay, Lacey. Promise me. Promise me right now, that whenever things go bad in life, you will run. Never, ever stay.”

Lacey Monroe was used to running. When things got bad, when things got dangerous, when there was a chance that she would get hurt – physically or emotionally – she did what her momma said. She ran. She kept running, until she landed in Salt Rock, Alabama. She meets Roam Cooper, the Vice President of the Mayhem Motorcycle Club. For the first time in her life, Lacey considers staying…and then right before her eyes, her world falls apart, and she runs again.

“No more runnin’, Lacey. ‘Bout time you started fighting to stay.” – Roam.

**This is a stand-alone, full length novel with a happy ever after**

My Thoughts
5/5 Stars

This book was a fabulous biker read with lots of twists and turns.

I loved the characters!! Lacey went through so much and was told to always run. When she hits a conflict that is just what she does... runs. It is nice to see her realize that sometimes you have to fight to stay. Roam, he was gorgeous and everything a book boyfriend should be. He is rough around the edges and has every girl drooling. He also has a softer, more caring side.

The connection between Lacey and Roam is hot! It was instant attraction and together they build something beautiful. The sex scenes are intoxicating. I mean come on Motorcycle sex..... is freaking sexy as h*ll!

I loved how the Author added in suspense and the motorcycle club aspect.
I loved the storyline and wanted more at the end.

I highly recommend this book to everyone !

…What will it take to trust and submit to his every desire?

And he has a penchant for bondage.
Matt enjoys the way a woman looks wrapped up in his ropes, and makes no apologies for his preferences. His one night with her was everything he’s ever looked for in a partner, but is cut short because of a family emergency. And he’ll do whatever it takes to make her his.
“Give in to this, Nic. Let me prove to you that I will be one of the best decisions you ever make.” –Matt Montgomery

Excerpt:
I grin and offer her a fresh bottle of water, which she accepts, unscrews the cap and takes a sip.
Fuck, she has beautiful lips. Lips that look amazing wrapped around the head of my cock.
“It’s not a crime to belong to a gym,” I reply.
My gym?”
“Do you own it?” I ask with a grin.
She laughs and shakes her head. “No.”
“It’s not far from my apartment, and it’s convenient to work, too, so here I am.”
She nods and glances down, not sure what to say next.
“The cake was delicious today,” I comment casually, giving her the opportunity to talk about her work.
“Oh, good!” She grins and joins me as I walk toward the smoothie bar, pull out a chair for her to drop into at one of the tiny two-person tables and sit opposite her. “I’m glad you enjoyed it.”
“You do good work. Leo and Sam are always talking about your cupcakes.”
“Leo and Sam keep me in business, I swear.” She laughs, sending electricity down my spine. “They’re very good customers.”
I nod, watching her.
“I like your shorter hair,” I murmur and reach out to brush the ends with my finger, enjoying the softness.
“Most men like long hair,” she replies softly.
“I like long hair, too. You look beautiful in both.”
She frowns and glances away from me.
“Why did you cut your hair, Nic?”
She shrugs and won’t meet my gaze. “It was time for a change.”
“Try again,” I reply.
She turns her eyes to mine and squares her shoulders, firms her chin. “It was time for a change.”
That’s a lie.
I cross my arms over my naked chest and drag my finger over my lip, watching her squirm.
She isn’t a good liar.
Good.
“Okay.”
She sighs, relieved, before I continue.
“For now.”
She scowls at me, making me laugh. “Friends don’t lie to each other, little one. The sooner you remember that, the better.”
“You’ve known me for three minutes, Matt. Don’t assume you know all there is to know about me.”
“You know what they say about assuming,” I murmur with a grin.
“Well, you are an ass,” she replies and then giggles.
I lean in and rest my mouth next to her ear. “This ass would love to smack your pretty little ass until it glows,” I whisper so only she can hear.
