Interview with Author Bella Roccaforte

Welcome Author Bella Roccaforte & Thank you for doing an Interview with Reader's Candy

Let's start with your writing.... Tell us a little about your most recent release. What is the title and description?
My most recent release is part one of a companion prequel, INK: Sketches. This chronicles the events leading up to the start of Book One. INK: Fine Lines (Book1) takes place when the real action starts. Shay Baynes’ birthday is kind of a bust. Over the last year her life has been on a downward slide with the deaths of her twin sister, her mother, a major father figure and a dear friend from work. She’s also been caught between two childhood sweethearts since elementary school and finally made the decision to walk away from both of them to get her life started on her own independently. But it becomes nearly impossible to avoid either of the hotties. Aiden shows back up out of the blue. He won’t leave her side when her neighbors are murdered and she’s the prime the suspect because her comic book depicts the murder scene. Eli is a district attorney jeopardizing his career to keep her out of jail.
Of course there have been strange occurrences that have gone unnoticed, until McNab, a paranormal investigator becomes involved and takes control.
This story is chock full of danger, and things that go bump in the night. Everyone’s involvement and history unfolds to set the scene for the rest of the series.

Only .99 (Through today 10-31)

If someone asked you why they should read it... What would you say?
This story is a great read for people who like characters that act like real people. The hunky men are flawed and real, Shay is a hot mess like most twenty-two year olds and the interactions between the characters is witty and will make you laugh. It’s also full of suspense, edge of your chair happenings that will keep you reading. It’s a fun read that will keep you enthralled.

If you had to describe your writing style with one word... What would it be and why?
Witty. The story and dialogue are both very fast paced. My characters say what most people think and just keep to themselves. My story also has more twists and turns than Mulholland Dr.!

Is there an Author that inspires you to write?
There are a few but one that has directly and absolutely inspired me to finish my story is Addison Moore. She is my total hero. Aside from being an amazing writer she is also the best cheerleader anyone could ever ask for. When I lost nearly 30k words of my manuscript I was going to quit. But with her encouragement I kept on going.

When reading... What genre do you prefer?
I really like a good paranormal story. I LOVE good zombie books.

We all claim a book boyfriend at one time or another... Who is your current book boyfriend?
